Timetable for classes

Tuition fees:
8 Week Intro to Acting-mixed level, beginning & experienced actors click for details
• Package A - 8 classes $485 (one class a week)
• Package B - 16 classes $785 (two classes a week)

Returning Students- monthly fee, due on the first of each month
• $245 one class a week
• $395 two classes a week

3 Month 'mini' Intensive- 2 acting classes/week, 6 hours Private Coaching plus one observation class/week. Unlimited studio use for rehearsals

Shelley Mitchell teaches in depth sense memory and scene study for beginning and working actors. Scholarships available for Native American actors in L.A.

One Year Intensive-
• $5,300
Serious pre or post university training. Emphasis on Stanislavsky/Strasberg naturalistic film and stage acting. Excellent preperation for Independent, Commercial or Experimental film and theater work.

One year intensive training
The one year program offers:

• 2 Sense Memory/ Scene Study class a week
• 2 hours Private Coaching/month
• Unlimited studio access for rehearsals.
• Unlimited class observation.
• Movement and Speech specialists will be invited in for special training sessions in addition to the above focus on acting technique.
• Limited to 10 ... The year culminates with a student performance in the summer.
• Deposit $1,500 The balance is due by Sept. 1 unless otherwise arranged.

Workshop Intensives

Weekend Workshops at ACSF are for beginning and experienced actors, writers, directors and non-actors interested in personal awareness and emotional expression. (Teens below 18 years are accepted based on interview and parent consent. 415.861.4965) (There are non currently on our schedule.)

Class Policies
- Classes are ongoing throughout the year which means you can sign up for the eight week Intro to Acting at any time.
- If your teacher has performance obligations, Robin Fontaine or a subsitutte teacher trained by Shelley will teach.
- Enrollment is on a first come first serve basis.
- New students have ten weeks in which to complete the 8 week orientation classes.
- You can continue in the class on a month-to-month basis after the first 8 classes.
- Missed classes are not rolled over to the next month. You can make up a missed class at any other class being offered that month.
-Class size is limited to 16
- Everyone must observe one class before enrolling ($35). Call for info and an appointment. Class is three hours, please plan to stay for the entire period.
- Keeping the class safe, dynamic, cutting-edge and professional is of primary importance to us. Inappropriate, destructive or sexually harassing behavior will not be tolerated and will result in immediate dismissal.
